Boughton at Derby have had it wet this year but how much rising damp can we take!

The weather so far this year has been a challenge for all. This latest challenge saw Boughton Derby having to contend with the River Trent rising so rapidly during the recent heavy rain that it burst its banks. With such force the water level rose 3 feet within an hour. The fields all around the Boughton premises were totally covered in water and the road to the sheds was a fast flowing torrent. This has never happened in the last 50 years. It is enough to make anyone turn to drink, with a little water of course.
