Boughton invest in soil processing equipment

Date: Category: Boughton News

Boughton have recently invested over a quarter of a million pounds into a new McCloskey S190 screen and Caterpillar 962M loading shovel to boost soil processing operations at Telford Way, Kettering.

The McCloskey S190 track model screen was purchased directly from McCloskey and comes fitted with a double deck and triple belts. This offers the highest combined true screening area across decks, boosting screened output to provide high productivity, quality and value.

The Caterpillar 962M loading shovel was purchased from Finning UK, and is capable of moving up to 7 tonnes of soil at a time. It comes fitted with a quick hitch bucket for speedy bucket changing.

The McCloskey screen and Caterpillar shovel have been put straight to work at Boughton’s soil production facility on their Telford Way site in Kettering. They are predominantly being used for outdoor material processing, helping to meet growing customer demand for topsoil, landscaping products and sportsground dressings.
