Dressing and maintenance for a typical pitch:

23m length x 3.66m width = 84m²

2.4 kgs loam per m² = 200 kgs per pitch

Therefore 8 x 25kg bags are required per strip.

Minimum order quantities via Boughton are 40 x 25kg pallets.  Remember that the same amount will be required for next season, plus an extra 10% for repairs (ends, footholes etc) – therefore, for a square with 3 or more pitches it would make sense to order a pallet delivery, rather than buying piecemeal.
