The Landscape Institute is holding a CPD conference between 28 – 30 September on the upcoming reforms to the planning system. Recognising the importance of this, Boughton is sponsoring the Landscape Institute for the conference.
This conference is in response to the Government’s announcement last year of a “complete overhaul” of the planning system. Many of the changes are in regards to the Living with Beauty report, with the aim to raise the standard of design and beauty across the country.
The conference will be discussing what the reforms mean for landscape and green infrastructure, covering key areas including:
• Planning, legal, policy and regulatory compliance
• Quality of landscape
• Sustainability, climate, and resilience
• Design – Landscape (all sectors including housing, play, sport, and recreation)
• Design – Public realm
• Landscape assessment
• Visualisation and photography
