Scope of Work

Frost Landscape Construction is literally a ground breaking company. Its portfolio boasts some of the UK’s prestigious landscaping projects and is recognised by the sheer number of British Association of Landscape Industries awards gained over the years. Its role as a partner in delivering The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, one of the largest of its kind built in the UK of over 100 hectares transforming a once derelict and polluted site into a ‘Green Legacy’ park for future generations saw Frost Landscaping working in close collaboration with Landscape Architects and the Olympic Development Authority.

The company’s also at the heart of the move to make our cities more sustainable with the patented Frost Vertical module for living walls and a host of successful projects for green roofs across the UK – all delivering proven benefits to the environment and quality of life in cities. It’s here that the long standing relationship with Boughton has moved onto another level with Boughton’s range of green roof substrates.

Why they chose us

Both companies have grown and developed over Boughton’s thirty year history with Frost Landscaping coming to rely on Boughton as a quality supplier of topsoil and loams. More recently, recognising the growing need for environmental and eco-friendly building solutions in cities, the partnership has enjoyed considerable success providing green roof solutions which demand lightweight, free draining, high porosity substrates for both shallow roof systems and more intensive solutions suitable for larger vegetation such as shrubs and trees.

With such prestigious sites Boughton have to be more than just a innovator in delivering products such as root zones and lightweight soils, it needs reliable logistics to meet the demands of complex construction sites and a solid working relationship built on trust and the ability to anticipate future needs in landscapes of the future.
